A sad farewell from the Play Research Group to Rune Klevjer, one of its prime movers over the last year or two. He's off back to do great things among the silicon fjords of Bergen but will still be in virtual contact via PowerUp. Lek og spill Rune and Eli!

Jon Dovey, a former colleague here at UWE, now at University of Bristol, will be presenting a paper entitled:-

'Why do we get the games we get ?' - Political Economy and Culture in Computer Game Industries.'

Jon has been carrying out research on the premises of games producers and this is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the processes involved.

Tuesday 25 May 2.00pm Room 9, St Matthias Campus
